I wrote a long DG/Cain fanfiction in the Tin Man fandom that I thought turned out rather well. I got significantly far into a sequel, but my new rule is No Posting Until The Fic is DONE and that saved my hinder because...well, it never got done. So here's what is done.

The Consort

Summary: This story begins two years after the events of the miniseries. When DG unexpectedly becomes Queen, she must choose a Consort. She reluctantly asks her most trusted friend, Wyatt Cain. After their marriage, what began as a platonic partnership soon deepens, but just as it seems love has bloomed between the Queen and her Consort, Cain is called away on a dangerous mission. How will their evolving relationship weather tragedy and separation?
