Monday morningz

Good morning, Intarwebz! Did you have a nice weekend? This morning I realized with something like horror that I forgot to look at PostSecret yesterday. They're going to take away my blogosphere membership card.

Here is CBus it is rainy and gloooooomy. But yesterday it smelled like fall, and that made me happy.

What did not make me happy was Google Docs. I use GDocs a lot, because I have a number of docs that either are being shared with beta readers or that I frequently edit both here at work and at home, so it's easier than emailing them back and forth between computers constantly. But lately, the GDocs is pissing me off. I'll come back to a document and start typing, only to be informed that I'm somehow no longer signed in (even though I'm signed into Google in perpetuity and Gmail never seems to have this problem) and it can't save. This means I have to reload the page, which will lose any new info I've added since the last save, which means before I reload I have to copy and paste the current version of the document into a Word window (or just copy it and hope for the best) then re-paste it in after it's reloaded.

This chaps my ass. It's irritating.

The turkey meatloaf I made last night turned out quite well. I anticipate more turkey meatloaf in my future. Endless variations are possible.

I have been on such a Southern-flavored folk-rock kick lately. All I'm listening to is Band of Horses and Fleet Foxes. Both bands are awesome (and Band of Horses has had a lot of songs turns up in prime-time dramas lately) but if you want to hear a really amazing song, check out "White Winter Hymnal" by Fleet Foxes. It's really quite cool. It reminds me of Appalachian shape-note singing.
