To market, to market, to buy some flowers

This morning Mom and I went downtown to the farmer's market. It's been raining but we got in between showers. I got some beautiful zinnias, she got some delectable-looking tomatoes and a round loaf of crusty artisan sourdough bread (which is her favorite). We took our time driving back. We stopped at the jewelry store where I picked up two items I had on layaway and she got a necklace as a gift for one of our family members (being vague because a number of said family members read this blog). We had a Starbucks and didn't quite make it back before the monsoon hit so now we're damp.
