My mother just called to inform me that she'd ordered me a pair of brushed-copper battery-operated electric candle wall sconces from QVC.
Me: ... *blinkblink* ...
My mother has never ordered a thing off QVC that I can recall. If she was so moved to order me this thing they must be gorgeous.
I don't know whether to be pleased or alarmed at this development. If my mother suddenly becomes a QVC addict and packages start arriving weekly I may have to move without leaving a forwarding address.
But it will be fun to get a package! So...thanks, Mom!
