Crack is whack
Bit of news from ohnotheydidnt: John Travolta to play Edna Turnblad. Yep. Babarino's going drag in the new film of "Hairspray." Sporfle.
In OTHER news...drum roll please...Teh Crackfic is finished. I completed the final chapter last night. I haven't posted it yet, because I still need to edit and proofread and I was too tired to do it last night at one o'clock when I typed "THE END." Also I might re-think the final scene a bit. I expect I'll be posting it later this evening, sometime between 8 and 10.
I barely feel any sense of accomplishment. I mean, yes, I'm happy with this final chapter (which is 3.5 times longer than all the previous chapters) but all i can think about is all the OTHER writing projects I ought to be working on.
1. "Third." Super Agent wants me to take at least a week off writing completely before I tackle my new rewrite.
2. The "Third" sequel. I'm actively developing this idea and have started writing sketches.
3. The Second Book. I've written about five pages of a reinvented version of a book I wrote about 100 pages of five or six years ago. I'm eyeing this as, hopefully, my second book.
4. HWTF, of course
