Curses! Foiled again!
Well, for one glorious day my friend-of list was three digits. Yesterday I had 100 people who had me on their friends list. Today it's back down to 99. Who de-friended me? Vile fiend! Oh well.
So far response to HWTF5 has been much better than I thought, except for one person on FAP who says she skips all the H/H parts because they're all mushy. Well, I'll freely admit that they're often mushy but they do talk about other things and have other types of interactions. Also I wanted some mush now because in the next chapter they're going to have a HUGE knock-down, drag-out fight. Oh well. Can't please everyone!
Am I the only person who was severely underwhelmed when I finally saw "Shrek?" It was talked up so much, i never saw it in the theaters and finally saw it a few months ago on PPV. I thought it was good, but it wasn't all that and a bag of chips.
Then I saw "Monsters, Inc." which I also didn't get to see in the theaters. Now THAT was all that and a bag of chips. I liked it much better than "Shrek." I thought the animation was better, the script was better, it was funnier, more touching, everything. Who's with me here? Those people at Pixar...how do they do it? Four superb movies in a row! What are they putting in the water? They've unlocked some sort of magical secret of how to produce a collaborative effort without diluting it into unrecognizability!
