The yucks

I've been borderline-sick for most of the week. Not so sick that I need to stay home, just sick enough to put me off my good mood. I've taken a couple earlyish afternoons. Just a cold, I think ( Read more... )

Seriously, it was in my netflix instant Q for a long time, didn't think it would be that great, but gosh, it was spellbinding.

All character actors with the chops.

Thanks for the heads up about Sunday. In my mind, DA would be like Sherlock and the next part wouldn't air for (what seems like) years.

So far, because of the way it's so intertwined and completely written, I haven't felt the need to make any head canon for it. Wishing you the same.

Sorry you have been feeling poorly. You are making so many ppl happy with your work. Hope all good things flow back to you for your goodness.

(I am reading your Potterfic this week.)

Re: Downton Abbey.

It is all going to end in tears (and, you know, death), but it looks to be a glorious ride.

Mostly because I have this fear of watching something that gets into my fangirl brain and knocks me into a new fandom, because I can't participate in more than one fandom at a time
Haha, I can identify with this so much. I've rarely abandoned working on a fic for a long time, but when I do it's always because of this problem. I've been avoiding catching up on a lot of my favorite shows lately because I'm in the middle of writing a story for something else and don't want to risk distraction from it.

Somehow I think I keep mixing up Downton Abbey with Boardwalk Empire even though I'm pretty sure they have nothing in common besides both being period dramas, lol. So I really didn't know much about it, but now I'm interested.

Couldn't be more different. Downton Abbey is basically Gosford Park without the murder mystery (in fact they're written by the same man). Boardwalk Empire is about the mob and Atlantic City and stuff.

Sorry you've been under the weather. :(

Hi and hello after a long time gone!! I hope this isn't a bother, but I've lost two of your stories and it's killing me. I had Zero at the Bone in its entirety and lost it when my computer crashed a few weeks ago - also lost my entire Two Crows Joy - these two Ennis/Jack are my favs - ones that I have treasured.

Please, please, help me get back these stories - is it possible for you to send me copies or tell me where I can get them?

Thanks so much - Adrianne

I'm afraid Zero is no longer available in its non-published form, and TCJ is available on the humaninterest LJ community.
