So in trying to do my Christmas newsletter this year I realized how much I depended on LJ in previous years to fill in gaps in memory for newsletter fodder. This past year I didn't write in LJ nearly as much as in previous years. So I need to do better for next year, even if it's just a sentence or two every couple of days. So this is for me. :)

I love our college's Christmas luncheon because it's one of two times the entire college is gathered in one place. Even though I usually sit with my office mates, I spend loads of time wandering around the tables visiting with people from different buildings and different campuses, lots of hugs and holiday wishes and catching up. I still need to post the poem I wrote for the door. It's a Star Trek version of A Visit From Saint Nick. I'm hoping to wear my Star Trek red shirt on the day they do the door judging, but my costume closet is hidden behind a million billion Christmas decoration boxes.

I wanted an icon to use for birthdays, and I don't like the one I'm currently using. If you were being wished happy birthday - which would you like to get?

I guess I was lucky my friends just left lobsters everywhere. :)
Speaking of lobsters, one of my friends gave me a lobster Christmas tree ornament today. :) :) :)
