Happy cat
I had to take new cat (Tira) to the vet for her rabies shot. So I had her weighed and a general lookover.
When we got her at the end of October she weighed 6.2 lbs.
When I took her in for a checkup on December 31st she weighed 7.5 lbs.
This week she weighed 8.5 lbs!
The vet said she was in excellent shape, and was astonished that she had added 37% to her body weight in 8 months. Like a growing kitten, but she just had her 3rd birthday. She was so malnourished that she has actually grown, she isn't getting fat.
Oh, another reason to love Montana, the visit and the rabies shot was $10.
