I'm glad we didn't go to the cinema to see You Don't Mess With The Zohan, though I'm a little disappointed that we wasted £4 and 90 minutes of our time. I think they wanted to make it as funny as Zucker, Abrahams & Zucker would have, but failed in a truly epic fashion.
The underlying message of YDMWTZ seems to be that we shouldn't fight amongst ourselves when we can create a much stronger force when we stand together. No shit. I'm not sure who it's meant to be aimed at - the two core groups in the movie are Israelites and Palestinians who live in New York, and are brought together by the threat of a property developer who wants to demolish the entire neighbourhood to build a big mall. In the movie, these two groups of people seem to have no clue about why they should be fighting. I'm going to leave it there, you can work out why it's a crap premise.
Don't bother, basically.
