I don't have any kids, but one day I might. What are the schools like here in Madison? Elementary, Middle, High, the works...

I'd love the perspectives of parents and townies alike. Just interested in thoughts that transcend the test-scores and district statistics.

It's coming up on that time of year when I get to choose my health plan, and really, our biggest medical event in the next 3 years in is likely to be getting knocked up.

What sort of experiences have folks had at the various hospitals (or non-hospital settings) around town when it comes to bringing a little one into the world...? 

i need to buy some ink daubers, those bottles of ink with a felt tip that are used in crafts, bingo, stamping, etc. the place i used to buy these from (Stationary House) closed this year, and the only other place i know of is near MKE. Are there any local places that would have these that i'm not aware of?

A friend of mine has a little girl, 1st grade-ish, who is having a rough time with her parents' divorce. My friend is thinking of taking her to a therapist, but would love some recommendations.
