Much needed vacation
..well I've returned :) I hadn't realized that it had been this long since I had last updated, sorry! But I've been in Oklahoma doing nothing but resting, relaxing, soaking up some sweet "country" sun and recovering, both physically & emotionally. Its been a very very fun trip!
..July 3 , Tay and I were having a cookout with his family and were enjoying the fireworks that the neighbors were providing and all the sudden..I missed home. I missed Madeline, i missed my friends & family..i missed the beach. I def missed the beach because fireworks there are always so breathtaking. So, after dinner I asked to talk to Tay upstairs and I asked him if he would want to go to Cali with me for as long as he wants........and he said YES! Soo we booked two tickets for the 4th and we arrived in cal around 12 noon? Gosh being greeted by the smell of the ocean and hearing the waves crash was sooo inviting. :)
We went to my house where my mom & madeline were the only ones home! Thank Goodness! I had actually missed them Both, soo much. We had lunch with them and then unpacked and got dressed and went down to the beach to catch some b-e-a- utiful fireworks. At first it was kind of weird for me being there on the beach at night but Taylor was with me so I knew I was alright. We ended up seeing some friends and hung out with them and had some hotdogs/hamburgers and Chocsmallows, it was great. Fireworks were beautiful, the OCEAN was gorgeous and everything was perfect :)
Since we've been back, Madeline has found the love of her short life, Taylor! haha its soo funny and so cute. She follows him everywhere! And, I got a lovely surprise..Megra & Chad visited me the other day!! I was so happy to see them! They laughed at me because my "accent" had changed a bit. It's alright, Im not complaining any!!
For now, Taylor is asleep and Madeline is watching cartoons and mom is at work and I am here. :) Im going to make some breakfast in a few minutes and see if Madie and Tay want to head down to the beach. Tay has been dying to surf so we may get some boards and see what waves we have.
Well i think this is good enough, Ill try to update a little more often.
