...But here it is.
Paprika. You may remember in the past an animated clip by
jl_williams about a girl chasing after a cell phone through a world best described as "whoa... trippy." Well, this isn't a movie based on that, but, after watching the trailer, god damn if it didn't inspire the same feelings for me, as well as the need for a toke (GOD DAMNIT!!! I so wanna fall off that wagon again and pick up the habit, but, nearly a month free from that... planning on getting serious again on quitting smoking once more on the one month aniversary of being weed free... so far I'm just getting my body warmed up to the idea again.)
It's been tough to get interested in most movie releases these days. 300 seemed interesting, but, in the end, I felt it could have been direct to video (Sorry Crashus, I just didn't care for it as a movie,) I do want to give Grindhouse a go, but, I'm waiting for it to be a) released on DVD, and b) my impending move to the down town core so that I have enough space to get a group of people together to watch it (End of the year, beginning of next year, I'm saving my nickles and dimes and hiring a moving crew though for that) but, other than that, the last movie I seen advertised that I said "I must watch that" was "A Night at the Museum," just because it felt like the fun humor movies I remembered from the nineties, that didn't rely off of awkward moments or feeling like a car crash to get it's laughs (Not insulting movies of that type, but, they aren't for me.)
So, what is on the radar for movies that people _MUST_ catch? What hidden gems have I missed that are due out?
