Wolf and Coyote
Wolf and Coyote were brothers it seems
Each bound to the other in body and dreams
Each granting his spirit to Man and his kin
To show them the ancient traditions again.
One leads by duty, one teaches through mirth
And thus they are balanced from last until first
Each walking their own path along the Wild ways
As once was decreed at beginning of days.
Now Steel and Glass have imprisoned Man’s heart
And seek to draw Wolf and Coyote apart
“You cannot be honored while acting the fool”
“You cannot enjoy life when bound by the rule”
But Wolf and Coyote are clever and wise
They are teaching Children to see through the lies
That challenge our birthright bestowed in our past
And restore the balance from first until last.
