Cosplay work didn't go quite so well last night as I'd planned, mostly because I am incompetant with a sewing machine. Took me the best part of an hour to get everything set up, work out how to get the bobbin thread through from underneath etc, not to mention the problems I had when I accidentally took the bobbin shuttle out and had to get it back ( Read more... )

Am in a lot of pain today. It's entirely my own fault: I bought some wool from Hobbycraft that had presumably come undone in the shop and as such was in a ziplock bag and being sold off for 49p.
