It appears that, ultimately, deep down inside, I *do* know why The Young Victoria makes me so upset after each viewing. But, I don't think I'm willing to accept that reason. And I don't think dwelling is going to help me get any further forward. However much I have been trying to avoid it, I have once again slipped back into living in the past. The past was pretty. But it's also over. Unless it's just started reconnecting to the present. Only time will tell.
