I've been avoiding political issues here, but this is too disturbing not to say anything about.
Trump has plainly said that his first hour in office will feature mass arrests and deportations without trial.
I've seen very little pushback against this. People are talking about it as a "tough immigration policy." It's not a policy; policy implies going through legal channels. It's a statement that he intends to be an absolute ruler, with no limits on what he can do.
Clinton is a scumbag, but we've survived scumbags before and can survive another one. We can't survive a dictator.
