I've just received an email with the subject line "crazy stuff" that purports to be from Gretchen Roper and is sent to a bunch of people who would be on her mailing list. It's uncharacteristic, and it urges people to follow a link to a website I've never heard of, so I conclude someone has hijacked her address book for phishing purposes.
The mail came from sagonet.com. I don't know whether that's what she usually uses for email, so I don't know whether the phisher has grabbed access to her account or just her address book.
In any case, be cautious with any mail you get which claims to come from a friend but just has a weird message urging you to open a URL.
