I was cruising through Facebook (yeah I'm there but don't bother: what a wasteland it is.) why do people still think it's cool to post pictures of themselves *on the phone*?
Is it their way of showing 1. their importance (look! someone called me! I'm too busy to put the phone down so you can take my picture) or 2. their technology savviness (look! I know how to use a telephone/cell! I'm so connected!)

The economy stinks. I work for a non-profit and they are frantically going through the budget and red lining every possible thing. I am a little worried they may cut my hours. Actually I would love that but I need the money.

If Obama doesn't win, please someone flush our country down the toilet. It would be the merciful thing to do.

I need some fun and lightheartedness. Instead I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. :/

Richard took the afternoon off and went to the Phillies' victory parade in Center City. He came home happy as a puppy with loads of pictures. I'm so glad I wasn't there. Huge crowds of jostling people are not what I call fun.

I hope the whole world realizes that Sarah Palin will never go away. She'll get her own evangelical talk show and irritate the crap out of us thinking people for years to come.

in other news: we're moving in 2 weeks and I haven't packed a single thing. Maybe I should get busy on that.
