~A Quick Hello!!~
Hello there everyone!! Well the bridal shower went off without a hitch. Everyone had a great time and Jaime got loads of goodies!! My Mom and I are making the favors for the wedding and we are almost done. Just a few more items to make (okay about 100) and we will be home free!! The wedding is almost here and I can’t wait!! Tara and I picked up our dresses last night and we were looking sexy. Look out Jaime you might have some competition at the alter!!
I have been super busy here at work and with the wedding I haven’t had much free time. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!! We sure did! I woke up early and mixed up some pancake batter and made heart shaped pancakes for breakfast. Madelynne was so excited to see them. After breakfast I let her open her gift and we watched a little bit cartoons together before we got dressed all festive for the occasion. I dressed her in a little shirt with a “Doggie Valentine” on it and a little skirt with hearts all over it. With her hair in pig tails she was just an angel. J I did lots of little goodies for her class. I made heart shaped sugar cookies with pink icing and loads of sprinkles, goodie bags with loads of fun stuff in them and we bought the cutest little valentine pails for them!! Of course we couldn’t forget Mrs. Johnson. Madelynne picked out an extra special gift for her too. J Once I dropped her off at school it was off to work to pass out chocolate roses to all of my fellow coworkers. J I love Valentine’s Day!! I love the idea of people being in love. I’m not one of those demanding, high maintenance wives that require you to buy me something like some people I know. I just want a card and to know that I’m loved. Instead of flowers, candy, and jewelry I would prefer something I can plant in my backyard to enjoy for years to come and a movie at home. J My husband picked the perfect card and wrote a beautiful letter in it for me. His love is so wonderful and I’m one lucky girl to have him. He also picked up a little card to Madelynne just from him. J He is so cute. He also surprised me with Josh Turner and Toby Keith rodeo tickets. My man knows how to make me happy. He is trying to get Gretchen Wilson and I am keeping my fingers crossed!! I got him the perfect card and a little something that I can’t say because this is a G rated update folks. J
I can’t believe that it’s almost March!! March is going to hold loads of fun for our family. We have Jaime’s wedding on the 3rd, Spring Break, Nana & Grandpa’s anniversary, Strawberry Grandma’s birthday, and of course St. Patrick’s Day!!
