~It’s been forever!!~
Hello Everyone!! Did ya’ll think that I fell off the face of the earth? LMAO!! I didn’t but it sure felt like it!!
Well I haven’t posted in this thing since November and a ton has happened since then so I will try to make this short and sweet!! J
December was really busy and so much fun for us!! We got to hang out with family that we hadn’t seen in awhile and of course Santa was super good to us!! Especially me this year!! I got loads of new goodies!! Santa brought me a pink 4g IPOD and all the lastest accessories, a red jewel Chi hair straightener, a Chi hair dryer, a beautiful gold locket, a serger to sew with, some great perfume and a ton of great new CD’s. Plus I got to take off 2 weeks over the holidays so I was able to do lots of fun stuff with Miss Madelynne. I really enjoyed making cookies with her and Tara and decorating them for Santa. My grandparents came all the way from Florida for about 2 weeks. They stayed at my house and I thoroughly enjoyed the time that we shared with them.
New Years!! Our New Years didn’t go as planned unfortunately. On December 30, 2006 our baby niece Savana Cheri Johnson became an angel. She was only 30 days old but she was so sweet and just adorable. I was so very fortunate to have been able to hold her and just smell her sweet scent over a couple get togethers over the holidays. Her parents have a long road ahead of them and I hope that they are able to lean on the support of our family to get them through this. Of course with Savana’s death brought back all the hurt and pain of losing little Nicole. We were never able to hold her in our arms but she will forever be in our hearts. I hope that Les and Gary will be able to move on from this and heal for the sake of their other 2 children. Since there was so much heartache and not really much of a feel for a party we decided to spend our night with our family and Miss Madelynne. I bought her some sparkling grape juice and some little champagne glasses. She thought she was hot stuff and was so excited to see all of the fireworks and the excitement of counting down to the new year was more than she could contain. Just the little twinkle in her eye and to see how happy she was worth every moment spent with her through 2006.
January!! Well our January has been an eventful one so far. I was sick for 3 weeks and finally went to the doctor after fighting with everyone I know. Well I was much sicker that I thought. If I had waited a few more days I would have been admitted into the hospital with pneumonia!! I have a nasty sinus infection, bronchitis, and a severe upper respiratory infection. This has not been fun. I have been tired and not very much fun at all!! I’m finally on medication (all 4 types) and I’m starting to feel more like myself again.
Wedding!! On March 3rd Madelynne, Tara and I will have the honor of being in our Friend Jaime’s wedding. Tara and I am going to be bridesmaids and Miss Madelynne is going to be the flower girl. I am doing a ton of the decorations and other things for Jaime’s wedding so I know that it’s going to be so beautiful. I was going to do all the catering also but thankfully her future in-laws decided to take care of that task. Whew!! It was going to be difficult trying to decorate, make favors and feed 200 people on top of being a bridesmaid. I was a little stressed out about it but Virgil said that I’m super woman anyway and that he knew I could do it. I knew I loved that man for a reason!! J Now I just have to finish making the favors and throw her a great bridal shower and we will be headed for the final countdown. Yippee!!
