Better late than never.

I refused to wear an ugly sweater to the party, but I did wear blingy antlers. I don't know how reindeer do it. I bumped into everything with them, and caught my camera strap on them about 5 times.

Today's good thing: I had a really good day. It was fun to dress up for Halloween, even if I did have hat problems. A lot of customers and associates complimented my "costume" - - which was mostly just clothes I had, plus a witch's hat. Maybe something simpler without a hat next time ( Read more... )

Today's good thing: work was amazingly tolerable for a Monday. Since I worked yesterday, I didn't have all the weekend "overstock" to deal with today, and the better of our two ON managers worked last night, so I didn't have much at all. Today good thing: pharmacy Christmas party! Awesome food, awesome presents, awesome company! We had a great turnout this year. And cake ball production is over for this year! That's why there was no good thing for yesterday. We were busy elves yesterday and today, making sugared pecans, cake balls, getting Christmas cards finished and packages ( Read more... )

Today's good thing: another busy day here. I got up early, did laundry(2 loads), made two cakes, baked a ham, raked leaves(in short sleeves, sweating, on CHRISTMAS EVE - - gotta love Georgia weather), cut them up with the lawn mower, then had soup and a sandwich for dinner, because I was tired.

Today's good thing: the pharmacy Christmas party was tonight! Awesome people, delicious food, presents and a lot of fun. I even accomplished stuff here today: we worked on cake balls, did laundry and got the garbage ready for pickup.

J finished his management class today, at the lodge at Little Ocmulgee Park, and I got to go with him. Everyone did speeches telling what they'd learned, and received their certificates. Then they gave us lunch.
