This is the first time in over 15 years that I haven't decorated at my own house for Christmas.

As much as I love the holidays, it's become way too commercialized.

Winter Wonderland and Hark the Herald Angels Sing

Still It's a Wonderful Life, but Love Actually is gaining on it.

Not sure it's considered a special, but How the Grinch Stole Christmas - - the *real* one, whte cartoon with Boris Karloff.
6. What you love about the Holiday season? :
I love most of it - - being with family, sending and receiving Christmas cards, decorating, even wrapping gifts.
6b. What do you Hate? :
The fact that Christmas stuff starts appearing in stores around here well before Halloween, and OMG, the crowded stores this time of year.
7. What is the Worse present to get? :
Friutcake, if it's baked. ;)
8. Are you finished with your Holiday shopping? :
I wish.

Half done. I hope to get the rest out by the end of the week.

Happiness and good health for my friends and family.

Usually turkey or ham, but we're tired of turkey for this year, so we're having a pork roast this year.

I'm sure everyone knows this one - - I *usually* watch It's a Wonderful Life while decorating the tree, which *usually* occurs on the day after Thanksgiving.
