True Blood thoughts so far
So, I've already started season 3 of True Blood - - and I am so happy to have a new fandom to be excited about - - and I'll probably do a rewatch and post reactions, but for now...
S1: It was all about Bill until Eric showed up. Eric and Pam are quite the duo. I am so happy the series did not kill off Lafayette. Tara's mom is vastly annoying. Sam is too pure for this world.
S2: I got really tired of Maryann really fast. I remain angry at Eric for what he did to Lafayette. I wish we'd had more time with Godric. I really liked him. If Eric hadn't already owned my heart by THAT ep, he definitely would have then. Sam remains too pure for this world.
S3, so far: I'm not up to the ep where it happens, but I will be so happy when Lorena is destroyed. Denis O'Hare is quietly terrifying as Russell. Jason is absolutely the world's biggest dumbass. Lafayette and Dan from Lucifer? Sophie is ridiculous. And poor, sweet Sam... first his adoptive family abandons him, then there was Maryann, and now he's found his trailer trash family.
