WATERLAND.
Every summer, five days in my little town of Des Moines were devoted to the lovely Waterland Festival, a carnival and friend fest that celebrated our tiny "Brandy You're A Fine Girl"-esque port town. Since the summer of 7th grade, I have literally never missed a day of Waterland. Seven Summers In A Row. I went with loyal fervor and loved every second and enjoyed my town's splendid summers.
Made all the more poignant by the fact that they have decided to CANCEL Waterland this year, and perhaps for the rest of our days.
What's a girl to do? ............Start a new tradition!!!
