So... I'm feeling pretty determined to get more into this wilderness educational - ish-type stuff. i've been feeling in a funk lately not sure of where to go/what to do and waiting for this mystical time when i would know. But i got a call from a friend from evergreen who is on a nols semester right now, and she told me that i was a big part of her inspiration to go. so that was nice. it also got me to start thinking actively about actually getting stuff done. so yesterday i applied to volunteer at Educo (wilderness school in ft. collins), and today i applied for a nols outdoor educator course. i figure it's a lot of money, but what is money anyway? and it'll really help me qualify to be an instructor for some outdoor company. and i figure i've just been floating for a few months anyway. I might as well start heading for something i think i might really like.
