A long time ago
I just discovered I was logged out of LJ. No wonder I never saw an entry when I'd check it. I check here as frequently as I go on line. I thought no one was posting, but I'm bad with my last post being November of 2010.
I tried to leave two comments just now, but they seem to not have posted. I need to figure out what I did wrong.
This past year has been a good one. Friendships have deepened with two women from church, I've been able to help one woman with the tasks she can't do due to worsening nerve control in her hands, had visits from both children and their spouses, saw the power of prayer during Don's experience in the bike-to-bike crash, and God's faithfulness in giving strength. I so enjoy being a Sunday School teacher to the 3s and 4s. I am saddened by how little most know of God and His Son. When I taught Titus's group they seemed more attune to spiritual things.
No major complaints this year either. The Monument Fire and Wallow Fire just proved how the people here band together to fight the enemy. Texas's fires also emphasized the lack of moisture out here in the west, but I like the dryness. People have to be more careful with fires and everyone, even the illegal crossers, need to be considerate to others.
I know God reigns and I am glad He does not give us what we deserve. He is always faithful to keep us in His care.
