Thanksgiving blessings

This past week was one of growing up.  Adult children and traveling for holiday celebrations change the nature of focus.  Nothing to be dreaded just a different perspective of life.

Sometimes life seems like an onion with multiple layers of family and friends.  One either peels off and enjoys each layer separately or cuts a wedge and enjoys a multitude of the layers, with the most current layer of friends or years being the most prevalent.  Each year adds on itself.  And each will be better as we live in the present and not the past.  When we start living for the future and "what ifs" we develop the useless brown layers inside our bulb.

Living for Christ continues to be the fountain and root of this life.  I am so thankful He saved and He is in control.  Taking time for His relationship with me each day is the most important thing in life.
