Just an update.
So... this semester is getting to me pretty hard. Good news first- I'm back at my apartment for the duration (is that a good thing?) I got initiated into the Sigma Phi chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota :) That makes me so happy. Lets see, I was kinda sick on Sunday, and this week has just been a blur of running around trying to make everything happen. I'

I know you probably don't want to do it, seeing as you'll be spending most of your time this summer on a bus, but Greyhound is a great option. I just did a quick search, and a 7-day advance purchase ticket to Minneapolis from ATL is $89.00. It's about a 27-hour trip. It's $77.00 from Madison to ATL.
Maybe this is a better option? I've been in touch with your situation via LJ, and I truly hope everything works out. It's one of my life regrets that I didn't do everything possible to march at least one summer in DCI. I see some merit to your parents' concerns, but the benefits may indeed outweigh the cost.
