I made it safely to Memphis around 9:30pm on Saturday evening.  There was something kind of nice about driving up I-40 and rolling over the Memphis bridge to a vision of downtown.  It was like a small twinge of accomplishment, victory, and other cheesy feelings that one might experience as they are coming home for the first time in a long time ( Read more... )

I'm back in San Antonio, and I have to say that although I love my family and that house in Memphis, it feels rather nice to be back in this house with the family that has taken me in for the year.
