The amount of baggage that I have here is astounding.

No, this isn't a metaphor for some kind of emotionally-dramatic past that I've kept locked away for the past 2 decades... I mean literal baggage. It's really quite humorous when I think about it.

While I was doing some of my usual Sunday "walking arounds" I started thinking about where I am as an almost 23 year old.  I have to admit... I´m actually pretty happy with where I am.  It might not be what I had imagined for myself a year ago, but there´s no doubt in my mind that I am exactly and most definitely where I am supposed to be.

Happy New Year! 2009... wow. I still don't think I'm ready to enter into a new year; but I figure if God can do all that He did in 2008... surely 2009 can only be full of even greater adventures in the lesson of Water Walking :).

I had written an entry in Word to copy and paste to the LJ last night, but when I pasted it there were some issues... so I decided to let it wait.  As I was heading to bed I realized that perhaps the Holy Spirit was "saving me from myself" in a way... giving me a little more time to think about what I had said.
