Saphron Woodstock (and offspring)

May 29, 2006 10:25

Yeah, it's exciting to see Onus and Jupiter's twins growing up, but what about Onus's other kids?  Remember his other twin daughters, Patchioulianna and Peppermint?  And his beautiful alien daughter, Odalisque?

Saphron has taken to going out with her co-workers after work.  Sloppy, very sloppy.

She sleeps it off in one of her daughters' beds.  Extra classy, there Saphron.

With their mother playing the worm in the bottom of the tequilla, the girls take on the responsibilities of running the household.

Odalisque feels the need to work extra hard.  She doesn't want to incur the wrath of Saphron.

They pitch in to do the cleaning and cooking (though Cinnamon may want to bone up on her skills a bit).

She makes up for her lack of cooking skills with her dedication to her younger half sisters.

Peppermint, so helpful and sweet (well, except toward Patchioulianna).

And Patchioulianna.  She comes off mean, with her dry sense of humor and rapier wit.  Cinnamon thinks its more for show.

"Hey, did you hear dad's new twins just had a birthday?"

"I'm going to invite dad over.  I want to see if he got fat from having babies.  I really wish we could meet our new sisters."

Cinnamon doubts the wisdom of Peppermint's decison to invite Onus over.  Hopefully Saphron will either be at work or the bar, so there won't be any fighting.

"I don't want mom to get any ideas about asking dad for money or anything.  I know he doesn't have a job.  That's not why I'm inviting him.  I just, well, I miss him."

"I miss him too, Peppermint."

"Come here Odalisque, I'll take your mind off it."

Peppermint doesn't seem to mind her two half sisters sucking face in front of her.

After phoning Onus, Peppermint anxiously awaits his arrival.  She spies a green girl, about her age, walking down the street.

She runs out to greet the girl, hoping its one of her sisters.  She's heard one, Rosalie, is green.

She stares at the girl.  She doesn't look like her dad.  Or her dad's boyfriend, Jupiter.

"Hi.  I'm Zola Laide."

Nope, it's not her.

"Hi.  I'm Peppermint."

But she seems a nice enough girl.  Better than her own twin sister, Patchioulianna, that annoying brat.

Back in the house, things are heating up between Odalisque and Cinnamon.

"You know, Odalisque, I've been thinking.  I think we should go steady.  It's practically like we already are. . ."

Odalisque gladly accepts.

When Onus arrives, Odalisque is the first to greet him.  She can't wait to tell him the good news.

Out at the trusted swingset, site of so many other secrets, Onus is the first sim to learn about his daughter's steady relationship with Cinnamon.

"Dad, *giggling* it's so great.  Cinnamon just asked me to go steady.  Of course, I said yes."

She's surprised at how well her father takes it.

"I'm so excited for you, Odalisque."

"Don't tell anyone else though.  It's kind of a secret right now."

Onus agrees, but feels a pang of jealousy toward his daughter.  Even she, at such a young age, can nurture a relationship.

Peppermint finds him next.

"Hey, you didn't get fat at all."

"Peppermint!"

"Well, I just figured you'd be fat from having twins and everything.  Hey, what's up?  You look sad, dad."

Onus is taken aback by his daughter's observation.

"Nothing, I'm fine."

"Yeah, right.  Why didn't you bring my new sisters along?  Is Jupiter babysitting them?"

"Jupiter doesn't babysit.  Your grandfathers are watching them."

"Why doesn't Jupiter watch them?  Did you break up or something?"

Onus doesn't know how to respond.  When did his daughter get so forward?  And how can he be having this type of conversation with a young girl?

"Oh, crud.  You did break up.  I'm sorry, dad."

"No, it's not a real break up.  Jupiter's wife died and. . .he just doesn't want me around anymore."

"And you believed him?  Haven't you ever seen a Lifetime movie?  That's the sign that he wants you to run to his side to be with him."

"You need to grow some balls and go over there and see him."

"Peppermint Woodstock!  Where'd you learn to talk like that?"

But Onus knows his daughter is right.  (and no, I don't know what's up with his arm in this pic.  It's pretty freaky though).

Onus is feeling very uncomfortable around his daughters.  How'd they get so, wise?  He tries to hide out at the swingset.

That's where Cinnamon finds him.

"Hey, Onus.  I know we don't really get along, but I just wanted to ask you something."

Onus prepares himself for the worst.

"Well, Odalisque and I are going steady and I think once we get old enough, I want to marry her."

That wasn't what Onus was expecting.

"So, would it be ok with you if, when we're older of course, I ask Odalisque to marry me?"

Onus doesn't know how to respond.  He just says the first thing that pops into his head.

"Holy shit, this IS like a Lifetime movie!"

"What?"

"Oh, sorry, Cinnamon.  I guess, when you're old enough, it's between you and Odalisque what you do."

"Hey, it's getting kind of late.  I should get back home to relieve Guiseppe and Benjamin.  Take care of Odalisque and the little girls for me, ok Cinnamon?"

"Sure, Onus."

Onus begins walking away from the house when he's stopped by:

"DADDY, WAIT!"

Onus is excited to see Patchioulianna, the daugther so much like himself, finally come around.

"I miss you, daddy.  Will you come see us again?"

"Of course.  And you're always welcome to come see me at Grandpas' house."

Onus misses his daughters and worries about their home life.  He didn't see Saphron the entire visit.  Not that he wanted to see her.  Having another verbal knock down drag out with Saphron is the last thing he needs right now.

As he walks home, he thinks about what his Peppermint said.  Maybe he does need to get some balls and go see Jupiter.
