Snow Day, or rather Tree Day
A snow/ice storm has blocked the entrance to our dead-end mountain (eh, large hill) road. County clearing crews say it should take between 5 and 8 hours to clear, which means no reporting for work today. Now, I could do the responsible adult thing and work from home to prepare this Friday's presentation, but...
- There are cookies to be made (and Robbie and SOL are stuck on the hill too, and available for the bakestravaganza)
- LJ to catch up on (my best friend from my wild university days was out for over a week, so I haven't had time to read, let alone post!)
- Naps to take
- and I realize I am woefully behind on updating "Properties of Silver" and really ought to work on the next chapter.
Maturity is much overrated, methinks. Off to start on cookies!
