[Wait for me] Wow, best day ever yesterday.

So Ethan had this glorious 'suprise' for me for saturday, and he gave
me no hints as to what it was. The only thing he hinted at was 'that it
wasn't just for me, it was for everyone'. Only thing I could think of:
PS3

As much as I want a ps3, he actually outdid himself. I came home from
work to see Sami and Pickles, a couple of really awesome people from
Winnipeg, sitting on my couch. BEST SUPRISE EVER. It gets better.

Ethan secretly went on my facebook and sent messages to some Calgary
friends and Saskatoon friends, and everyone came over to our place for
sunday, not knowing the winnipeg folk were going to be there. SUPRISE
FOR EVERYONE! Everyone brought some food and we had a great potluck.
Too bad I worked so late that day, so I only got to visit everyone for
a couple of hours, but it was still SUPER fun seeing everyone again.

Someone mentioned that it was our own little winter conference. I think
it may have been Brent. There was some stepmania playing (though only
for about 20 minutes) which I think Pickles won (I could be wrong),
there was a big SSBB game, which Jeff won, food was eaten, some people
were off in a corner with their own games (scrabble and rubic's cube)
and conversations were had! Someone also mentioned the winter
conference shirts are in the mail :p

For those who have NO idea what the last paragraph was aboot, I used to
be an avid DDR player (DanceDanceRevolution). I went to tons of forums,
and made lots of new friends all over Canada through them, and went to
local, and Canada-wide tournaments. They were called DDR Conferences,
which became ITG conferences after the DDR scene faded (don't worry, I
still love you over ITG). Yearly conferences were held, and then
bi-annual conferences. The location that they were held changed each
time. I can't think of a worse place to have a winter conference than
saskatchewan.
