[Wait for me] today is my friday :)
I will definitely start posting regularly again! I have been crazy busy
with working at the salon. They decided sending me to academy would be
a waste of time, so they had me just groom a test dog and I passed with
100%! I was promoted immediately and have been doing all kinds of
grooms since :) Yay for a bigger pay cheque and more responsibility -
at least it's something I like to do.
It's not vet school or anything, but at least I can start really saving
up for it and -finally- getting a much needed vehicle. Busses are a
great idea and all, but having to get up and catch a bus almost 2 hours
before your shift in the middle of winter with a half hour wait
downtown between busses is KIND OF ridiculous. And then there is the
ride home...
We've had a couple of days with nice weather. I was able to take Aphex
out to the dog park. One day it was pretty over crowded (there were
probably 30-40 dogs there, and quite a few bad ones at that) so we
didn't stay too long that day, but my boyfriend took him out the day
after and he made best buddies with some other dog there while it
wasn't too busy and they ran like crazy.
Lately I have been experimenting with desserts. I picked up a tasting
party set and MAN have I made some mean things so far. I will maybe
cook up something tomorrow and post pictures and a recipe. Maybe. No
guarantees. Lately I have been trying to avoid using the computer for
absolutely no reason. Maybe to avoid facebook or something. I'm over
level 50 in one application, and just started another one today.
TERRIBLE.
Speaking of terrible. If any of you people care, I've been doing some
volunteering for a dog rescue in Regina, SK called Bright Eyes Dog
Rescue (BEDR). If you guys have anything to donate (beds, brushes,
leashes, collars, food, anything to raffle, or even a few extra bucks
for vaccinations or spay/neuter), I know they would sure appreciate it.
Or if you are interested in fostering one of their bajillionmillion
dogs or pups, you should totally contact them!
