Things That Enrage Me Irrationally: JUSTIFIED MARGINS. Especially in tables, because you will only fit two words on a line at most in those things, why must they be an inch apart? GAH.
Taught my lesson today. Talked to Oleg. We have no idea what to put in the Pony Grant budget. At least I've got it mostly filled out right now, and I'm hoping Aitjamal will help me at least figure out what I'm missing while she's around tomorrow. MA said I can email it to her to look over, too, since she did PDM training and thus in theory knows what she's doing here.
Also made spaghetti sauce despite tomatoes hitting 270 tg/kg. OM NOM NOM SPAGHETTI I MISSED YOU. (Note these are now on par, cost-wise, with the canned whole peeled tomatoes, assuming I can find them, which I can't always.) I now have enough tomato sauce to last me at least week, if not longer. During the cooking process, Lucy discovered that she can jump on top of cabinets. At current, she's trying to eat my necklace.
MA's new niece, btw, was finally born last night. But her brother and SIL still haven't picked a name. Apparently they went three days without naming their other daughter, so this could take a while.
And I'm wondering if my issues with the month of February aren't some form of SAD. Because today the sun was out for the first time in a while, and there was just enough of a breeze to blow about a little of the dry snow from the rooftops, and on the walk to work I just had to keep stopping to admire the ice-covered bushes and the icicles and the funny shapes made by snow sliding off roofs. Best mood I've had in a while. Maybe I need Vitamin D pills.
Oh, and I bit the bullet and signed up for Tardis_bigbang. Despite not exactly having a plot. Wasn't a problem for my sga_santa fic, was it?
