Milo was a praise hound. And that was good too. But I was really worried it was going to be a while before I found what I could use as a training tool for her.

Okay, so she's not a pup - she's four - and she's not exactly new in our lives either BUT we're adopting our daughter-in-law's dog (she was always more hers than my son's) as they aren't allowed pets in their flat.
