An open letter to all the 'digitally dead' celebs out there.

I'm sorry but I won't be donating to any of the charities you are pushing.  You see I am currently making less than 20,000 dollars a year, trying to pay off student loans and looking at going back to do yet more school in an attempt to make a bit more money.  I know many of you probably have no clue what it is like to live this way.  Many of you make more than enough money to donate a million to a given cause and not have it affect you at all.  So, if you believe in the cause so much, why don't you go ahead and do just that?!?  Heck you can even write it off on your taxes.  Thanks for having the opposite effect on me than what you intended:)  I know that you are trying to project a caring, giving image but you can do this just by actually giving yourself without pushing it on us.  Thanks:)

I refuse to give money to any causes pushed by celebs because it makes me sick when I see how much money they make and yet they expect us people having money problems to sacrifice.  It reminds me of an Oprah show recently where the headline was "What could YOU do without"?  I was like, "really, Oprah"?, more like what could Oprah do without?  Maybe her numerous houses while people are being evicted from theirs and living in tents?

Sorry for trhe rant but my bitterness towards the rich is starting to really surface lately.  A better society can only be brought about when man's actions falling in line with his thought that everyone is equal and deserves the same no matter what.

celebs, society, money
