On classes (yuck), and medical emergencies (at least they should be).

On classes:

So the first week of school is (almost) over. Yes! But why did this semester have to be filled to the brim with boring classes? I've got World Mythology (which theoretically shouldn't be too bad), Psychology 8 (revolves around research methods and statistics - yuck), English 20, Geography (What was I thinking???) and Philosophy.

I only have World Mythology once a week, but automatically that means there must be tons of reading.  Also, the professor is a little old lady with a quiet voice, so I think I should sit closer.  Philosophy isn't too bad. I don't know what it is that attracts me to it.  Not too mention I actually understand it.  Oh, and the professor is pretty funny.  I have the best look when it comes to philosophy professors.  Um... English 20 looks like it'll be a drag.  Professor is very down-to-business about everything.  She's not very fun or amusing.  My geography professor is down right funny. Well, at least too me.  He has a dry and nerdy sense of humor, so I get it.  I was the only one in the class that got the Fantastic Four nod on Wednesday.  The subject itself looks like it'll be a drag.  First day of lecture and I was already so lost.  How on earth is it that I have a better understanding of Biology than Geography? Psych8 looks boring too. Professors funny though.  Seems like a lot of it will be really tedious though.

On medical emergencies:

On a more personal note, mother dearest is apparently having chest pains.  I just don't know what to do with her anymore.  I nag her about taking better care of herself, taking her meds, resting properly and attending all her appointments, but she doesn't listen!  She's been having them at least since yesterday, and didn't think it'd be a good idea to go to the Emergency Room.  After she saw what happened to grandma first hand by ignoring symptoms, you'd think she'd be a little more observant and take care of herself.  Then she has the gall to complain about our economic situation and say she wants another job.  Woman, sit the hell down.
