Yamada-niichan pushed both me and Riko behind the tree just in time. Yamada-niichan panted as he covered us.
"You two still okay?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said, as I too, panted.
Riko didn't answer though, I looked at her worriedly.
She sighed and said, "I'm fine." In her hand was her baseball cap.
I looked at my own hand as well, checking my ballpen. It sounds ridiculous, but these things might be able to save us.
"How much farther are we from the camp?" I asked Yamada-niichan.
"We're very close now." He said, looking if the coast was clear. It all became quiet now. He walked away from us quietly until all I could see was his two horns and then he went back just as quiet.
"Let's move..." Yamada-niichan whispered and both Riko and me nodded.
We started walking, following Niichan. He was the only one who knew where the camp was. He is afterall, our guide; our satyr.
Just three minutes of walking and we started running again. The minotaur was back and he was now with three hell hounds, and and they coming after us, fast. I took Riko's hand and we ran as fast as we could.
"We're almost there!" Niichan shouted but I could only see more trees.
The minotaur had then uprooted a tree and threw it at us. We duck just in time. Niichan had then swiftly stood up and pushed us forward. And I knew we were finally there.
Suddenly there were more people. Two young boys and a young girl in orange shirts came forward.
The tallest of them smiled at me and winked. "Hey there, lil bro." He said.
I just bowed in return, feeling very taken aback.
"That's Yuto." Yamada-niichan said. "He's also a son of Poseidon, just like you. He's your half-brother." He explained.
I watched as the tallest of them came forward and confronted the minotaur. There was a whirlpool around him, he was controlling it! Another boy moved forward, taking on the hell hounds. He was smirking as if he was enjoying himself.
Just then the young girl came towards us. "Are you two okay?" She asked.
I looked at Riko and saw she was hurt. Before I could turn back to the girl, the girl had already called for an 'Apollo's child.'
"I'm Natsune, by the way." She said, as she helped Riko up her feet. "Hades' daughter. That's my brother, Shintaro." She said as she pointed at the boy fighting with the hell hounds.
I watched in awe as Yuto dueled with the minotaur. The minotaur really looked angry now, he was all wet. The hell hounds who was confronted by Shintaro was now just playing with him. It was amusing to look at.
"Raiya!" Someone suddenly called. It was my mom.
"Yeah?" I called back.
"Phone!" She said. She then went out of the house and looked at all of us in shock. "Yuto, what are you doing with the hose? Were you playing with the water?!"
"Ah, we were playing Percy Jackson..." Niichan said sheepishly.
"And looked at Ryuu-kun all wet! Go inside all of you, you all looked dirty. Ryuu-kun, change clothes, you might get cold." She said.
I groaned. "Mom~! We were just playing! And it was getting good!" I moaned at her.
"It's not good if Ryuu-kun gets sick." She chided. "And Ryosuke-kun, why are there sticks in your head? Riko, change your clothes, it's already dirty. You too Natsune-chan. Shin-kun, were you playing with Tamu, Raido and Chii? Wash your hands, please. Yuto, clean up your mess. And Raiya, the phone! It's your manager."
I sighed in defeat as all of us made our way to the house.
"Let's do it again, next time, ne?" Niichan told me, patting me on the head.
"Un!" I said, excited.
"Next time, I don't wanna be the minotaur." Ryuu-nii said.
