OK, my job rocks!
How many people can say it's part of their job to act as a go-between for an aboriginal health organization and a hospital, and then to participate (albeit only in a witnessing capacity) in a healing ceremony right in the ICU unit?!
Though there are all sorts of challenges (both good and bad) in this career, some moments are just wonderful.
In similar news… On Wednesday mornings the chaplaincy residents take turns lead a short worship (20 min max) - tomorrow I'm going to be doing a very brief ritual which will feature the usual pray-and-pour and I will be telling the Cerridwen/Taliesin story.
