So that's it! Another Globe season over!

Can't believe where this year has gone - so quickly!

THe final performances were fabulous (well most of them -to be honest I ducked out of most of Antony & Cleopatra and went to pub instead as really didn't enjoy it.) But the other shows were splendid especially Comedy and In Extremis whilst Titus was just amazing - shame about the terrible school party though that chattered and screeched and pushed and shoved all the way through the first half. It was as if they were watching tv and seemed oblivious that they were within 3 ft of the actors who could hear every word!!

THe stewards threw roses as per tradition at the curtain calls and Dominic made some wonderful speeches - warm funny and generous to everyone who worked at the globe and on the shows.

Still smiling to myself post the Globe End of season parties - there's tradionally two - one for the stewards at lunchtime that some of acting companies and crew come too and then the Company evening one which is always fancy dress. This year it was the Wild West and people looked sensational!! Saloon girls, cactii' and sheriffs abounded.

The highlight of the evening for me was the hug I gave to Jonathan Cake and the kisses on my hand from him! Trying to remember what I said to him! To be honest some of the details are hazier than they ought to be. But he was very sweet and complimentary!

I also accosted poor Dominc Dromgoole (at least twice!) and expounded on my theories on why hiring some of my other favourites for next season was a good idea!! So now Dominic *knows* I am completely bonkers rather than just *suspecting * I was!

Back at Globe for Information desk shift and the King Lear recording next Sunday then up to Edinburgh to see Liam in "Merchant of Venice". Excellent reviews for that which is another Very Good thing!
