So, it's fall break here now (second day of, more specifically). Things are going well. Lots of people have gone home or away so it's kinda quiet around here. Even my roommate is gone. It's a bit harder to find stuff to do now, but I'm managing. [IIT peoples- Stargate anyone?] I was a bum and finished my physics homework last night already, and I'm already started on my calc homework, so I think I may have that done before sunday, which means I can leave fun time for sunday when people come back.
Tonight at dinner, something quite unexpected. I was walking to get some fries by the cafeteria entrance, and who do I see walking in? Noah! (Yes, Noah K-O) He was among a group of older men and women, and they were touring my prestigious little school here. Had a short but very lovely chat with him. It was quite good to see him.
Nothing else really big going on. Took my psych midterm tuesday. It didn't go too badly, I think I got at least a B. Other classes are still going well. We just started on Relativity in physics, and I'm liking it a lot. I think it's really quite cool and interesting. It's also good to learn the correct version of physics, as Newton was pretty much wrong with his physics. Though he did get some things right, and his methods are good for estimating within scenarios dealing with things not on the subatomic or speed of light scale.
