It's so quite!
My house is slient! Both David and Mac are sleeping. I never really enjoyed the slince so much until about 5 months ago. I love my family but, sometimes it's so nice to have peace and quite, not having someone needing me. I can't believe how much I have changed, grown up, since McKenzie was born. There was a time, not to long ago, that I didn't like the house to be quite. I always had background noice going. I couldn't stand the silence, now I relish it! I love not having the tv or music on and often I will find myself sitting and playing with Mac for long stretches of time before I even realize the house is so quite. Maybe before I didn't like to hear my own thoughts and so I would drown them out with sound and now I like the person I am becoming and so I like to be quite and still. I feel if I don't make the time for quite time with my family Mac will be grown and gone and I'll go wait what happened to my baby! I can already tell time is going to move so fast. You blink and it's gone!
