Storms lash Britain.

Other than a severely interrupted night’s sleep and a brief midnight check of the state of our side gate we escaped pretty lightly this time round, and at least there were no early hours sorties outside to recover escaped cats or repair broken fences!

Very interesting riding on the bike this morning, the sky black as night, thunder, lightning, torrential rain, flooding... and it turns out my waterproofs aren't quite as waterproof as I'd hoped. Brilliant fun!

Although you might not think it from looking at the clear blue sky this morning, last night Lower Earley got hit by a massive storm with incredibly high winds and torrential rain.
