All these fireworks really do make me wonder if someone's celebratin' somethin'. Also what kinds of things folk 'round here do celebrate. So, what's the last festival anyone 'round here went to? Or party, or other big celebration?

It's a large festival. The streets are decorated with streamers, and people make wishes. But most regions have their own customs for it, too, so it's different in different places. Some have fireworks, or goldfish-scooping, or anything else a festival might have.

The last party I attended was something for one of the ministers of Spain. I've forgotten what it was all about, now. Keeping up with whose who in the world of politics is difficult without access to a database. Not that it remembering all of that matters in such a place as this.
