All these fireworks really do make me wonder if someone's celebratin' somethin'. Also what kinds of things folk 'round here do celebrate. So, what's the last festival anyone 'round here went to? Or party, or other big celebration?

Don't think I ever heard of that one. What's it like?

It's a large festival. The streets are decorated with streamers, and people make wishes. But most regions have their own customs for it, too, so it's different in different places. Some have fireworks, or goldfish-scooping, or anything else a festival might have.

It was. What about you? What sort of festivals did your world have?

My homeworld had planting and harvest festivals, mostly. And Founders' Day. Other worlds I been to've had all kinds of other celebrations, though. And then there's Paquin. I think they celebrate Tuesday there.

Tuesday is Fire's day.

Didn't mean it quite literally. More it's a festival world, sort of. You can most always find something being celebrated there somewhere.

Tanabata isn't the last festival I went to. It's coming up. I want to plan something for it.

Well, getting decorations shouldn't be too hard. Or at least the raw materials, and then we could make 'em. Any particular traditions you're looking to hold to?

All we can probably do are streamers and lanterns. I'll requisition those soon. You can help me put them up.

We'll have some booths, too, so we'll need tables.

Sure thing. Tables shouldn't be too hard, especially if we get creative with what's just lying around already.
