Radio Silence
Apologies to anyone who has been waiting patiently for the next installment of my epic mess of a crossover 'fic. It would have been posted a day or so ago but I didn't like where it was going and completely deleted it. So expect a 'fic update in the next few hours.
Let's see...
It occurs to me that I've never properly introduced myself. Up until this time last week the only things posted to this journal were a few bits of fanfiction. Here's a little about myself, for anyone who's curious.
I'm a 25-year-old working the average 40 hr/week job. When I'm not day dreaming (read: working) I tend to a small garden, raid on a 10-man strict guild on Wow, and play D&D with the few friends I stuck with from high school.
Otherwise I write a few hours a night and have been in a relationship with the same guy for the past six years. Believe it or not, but while I say I write for a few hours when I can, I have adult ADD and actually write a little here and there then pop on to a random website and surf for a bit.
I liken my relationship with my boyfriend to that of my recent Doom crossover 'fic. He and I have relied quite a bit on each other ever since we've been together. Not co-dependancy, but we've each had our lows that the other has had to help pick up the pieces from. I'm trying not to write it into my fiction, but in hindsight I can see it there.
I've been a closet fan of Star Trek since I was a kid watching reruns. Needless to say it got me interested in Sci-Fi in general, with Faescape being a recent favorite. When I heard the new ST:XI movie was coming out I squeed and got my hands on the first torrent I could find. The whole Nero story was kind of meh in my opinion, but the newly invisioned Enterprise crew was awesome. Totally. Well, obviously.
Ack, lunch break is nearly done here at work...gotta finish this up. :P
