I applied to the SPCA a few weeks back, and had heard nothing. I was getting depressed about the lack of response (do I smell or something?), so I gave the HR department a call. Turns out, the Hiring Manager has just returned from New Orleans after several weeks, and will begin calling people soon. All hope is not lost! WOOT!

Of course, if I still don't hear from them, it'll make me really sad.
