Housewarming/Birthday Party
So, the party was fun. I had a bit too much wine (thankfully, some of it ended up on the table instead of inside me, which I'm sure reduced the inevitable hangover the next day), but don't recall making too much of an ass of myself, so I count it as a win. Sea of Tethys also seemed pleased with the outcome (and didn't kill me afterwards), so I'm happy with how it turned out. Everyone eventually managed to find the place, which should make future events easier to organise ;)

Due to hangover, decided to give Terry Pratchett event a miss on Saturday, but thankfully Jennyanydots21's parents are big fans, so we gave them the tickets (in exchange, they kindly gave us some banana bread, which was delicious). Jennyanydots21 was also responsible for the chocolates that eventually perked me up enough to get me out from under the hangover (dey was delicious, thanks loads luv :D ), which was good, as we had a table booked in FXB's for dinner. Saturday was Tethys and I's 1st year anniversary, so we decided to celebrate with steak. It really doesn't seem like a year, but at the same time it feels like we've known each other for ages. Of course, Tethys has started retroactively putting me into her memories from school (I think she has now photoshopped me into her life from age 16 on), so that might have something to do with it ;)
Today was a quiet day in. I've taken the rest of the week off work (most of which will probably be spent failing to shop for Christmas) and I felt like I needed a chance to fully recover from the past two days :) Of course, instead of relaxing, my brain was suddenly bombarded with ideas for the games I'm running, which has handily kept me distracted all day. On the plus side, this should leave me with plenty of material for next year.
